Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Murfreesboro Pike Sunday Night
A male pedestrian has died following Sunday’s 8:30 p.m. crash on Murfreesboro Pike at Summercrest Boulevard. The Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting to positively identify him.
The preliminary investigation indicates the man was struck by the driver of a Dodge Charger who was traveling southbound through the intersection on a green light.
The 25-year-old driver remained at the scene. There were no signs of impairment.
