DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation has reopened Highway 28 between Starbuck and Morris. The roadway has been closed to thru-traffic since May for road construction.
The project included resurfacing and replacing culverts on Highway 28 between Highway 59 near Morris and John Street in Starbuck. Crews also replaced underground utilities and upgraded sidewalks in the city of Cyrus.
Over the next several weeks, motorists may still encounter crews on-site finishing final touches on the project. Please travel with care, slow down and give them space to work.
